Well finished changing fluids and filters and couldn't resist so at idle loosened an oil canister and got a good bath in a hurry so its got oil pressure. Cant see an obvious location to put a pressure gauge on it??

one way of checking some or no oil press! should be able to see plug some where along block oil galley, filter housing, etc. post question on exact make forum elsewhere on this site--good luck.

on LH side of engine, just ahead of filters, is the oil pressure sending unit. one wire, and threads into the block with 1/8" pipe thread. that's where to connect a pressure gauge. either tee it off or remove the oem sending unit. if you remove, then the oil tellite will indicate only low hyd pressure, instead of either hyd or engine oil pressure.

The oil pressure regulator is in by the oil cooler there. It is set to 38-55 PSI for the oil pressure. If it is lower then it probably needs crank bearings or cam bearings.
