Belly pump shaft cuppler

Ok so one my 1941 Farmall H I need to get the cuppler off for the belly pump shaft. I was wondering if there are any tips to get it off?

It just screws off. lefty loosey. Big punch fair size hammer. Couple sharp licks.

We have riged up a deal with a pipe and a bolt the bolt is ground off on one side so we can get on it but it still won't move

Are you turning in the correct direction - I believe the threads are backwards to a normal bolt.

No, it is right hand thread.

I have a socket with key stock welded across it and use the impact wrench

I line it up so I can get a big bar in the slot, lock transmission in two gears and have at it . Some times the threads are damaged due to a hydraulic pump failure locking pump gears and then they can be a real bear. Had to cut one off a few years ago. And yes, the threads are right handed.
