Nope, I won't pay......

$134.00 for that part at my friendly Kubota dealership.

It is a pivot pin for an idler pulley arm. Welded the worn spot, roughed it down with angle grinder, finished it with a flat mill file and some emery. Took about 40 minutes of my time today.

I will pay 3 bucks a pop for two new bushings that go in the arm though.

You know, the arm even has a grease zerk between the bushings that was greased frequently. The pin wasn't really worn that deep, maybe a
thirty-second but even that little amount was throwing the idler out of alignment enough to flip belts off the pulleys.

I don't mine supporting a dealership, but They (All of Them)are getting out of control and they can't see that is what is killing their business. Some parts are 700% what you can get on other internet sites. And I am taking new stuff.

Oh no!
You're killing the Global Economy!

How will the dealer make the payment on his boat or second vacation home?!?!

Oh well, I never buy anything either....

I have a 1800 Kubota and the little piece that holds the transaxle cooling fan came loose and wore the hole, a new on is 112,00 at my dealer. there certainly has to be a salvage place for the dang things.

I was in to the Kubota dealer the other day to get a can of spray paint to do some touchup. $14.95 with my shop discount. Even Mother Deere isn't that greedy-yet.

Aquired a L2900 Kubota recently.Came with a 72" belly mower, and I am missing the small PTO shaft that goes from the mower to the mid mount PTO.Dealer wants over $700.for this shaft. They can keep it.The whole mower isn't worth that.

Did you look into parts to make a replacement from TSC?

good job.
I'm on my third Kubota, really like them.
But, their dealer prices on some parts and optional equipment
are just crazy.
Business model probably.....when yours gets old enough to start to need the little Kubota only replacement parts.......most will trade-in and buy new.

pretty funny, small parts are mega $,
but I always buy an extra, heavy duty, smaller bucket when I get a new Kubota. Big standard light duty one for winter snow, and the heavy duty smaller one for hard dirt work.
Buckets are actually pretty reasonable...lots of steel, well-made.
go figure....

Eric while you are there make CERTAIN that the grease fitting there in the bottom center of the axel is taking grease. It greases the axel pivot and when it freezes up you axel will not follow the ground. Hard to remove and hard to remove the shaft where the drive pulleys go when this happens. No rhyme or reason to the way the company prices parts to dealers some things that you would think would be high are reasonable then the very next day you run across something like your bracket.
