J D 1010 engine

For the brain trust,Is the gas engine in the John Deere 1010 IC crawler the same as the
wheel tractor?I am looking for intake and exhaust gasket. They say they fit 1010 and 1020
but I am not sure what is what. If anyone can give me a part no. it would be very helpful.

The 1010 and 2010 are very close to being the same as for the engine. Should also be the same engine in them all be it tracks or wheels

I cannot answer the question for certain. But the (gasoline) 1010 crawler and regular tractor both used an engine with 115.5 cubic inches. The 1020 used an engine with 135.32 cubic inches.

1010's and 1020's are as different as night and day. Gasket kit part no# AT12699.

I grew up with a 1010 as our "big"tractor (as compared to the M). Best use for a 1010 is a one-time boat anchor.
