What's the best way to clean out gummy diesel fuel that has sat way too long in a tractor fuel tank? (JD 350 dozer.)

Drain what you can, flush some fresh stuff around and treat it with bio-con. It'll be cheaper up front to buy a davco fuel filter setup as a primary...large lines and large capacity drop out for crap. filters aren't spenddy either.

E-85 fuel works best to dissolve that crud

I have never seen E85 here in south Jersey but for tank trouble I use MEK. Watch out cause if you spill any your paint will instantly go POOF. Works great with gas crud.

I've found lacquer thinner will cut about anything.
