Agventure corn seed

I was checking prices and my co-op told me they had some Agventure 8899. Price wasn't bad at $170.00 for 50lb bag conventional. I don't know much about Agventure. I looked them up online but I was looking to see if anybody on here had used them before. Thanks for all your help.

My experience is that they will sell you a bag of corn seed and tell you it is the same thing as a very well know brand and variety but in a cheaper bag. I've had them in plots beside some of the varieties that the AgVenture variety was suppose to be just like. Harvest time comes and the AgVenture clearly is not the same thing. Nor is it close to the same thing. 40 bushel less worse case. It lasted one season around here (mid Tn and north AL) and hasn't been seen since really. my advice would be to put your money in something you know and have relied on in years past. Just my two cents.
