Country Clipper Mower

Anyone have one? They are awesome machines. We bought a used one for a true steal. I mean we actually tried to talk the guy out of selling it to us it was such a good deal. But they have an awesome feature in that the deck stands up on its own without removing it. Pretty neat and easy to clean. Also its a zero turn and has a joystick for steering. Made in the USA too!!!! If you need a zero turn i'd check them out. This will mow about 5 or 6 acres a week so time will tell on the reliability.

My next door neighbor has one, (a 60") and he loves it. He found out early on the Kawasaki carb is susceptible to dirt so he is very careful to make sure there is NO dirt in the fuel. Other than that with over a thousand hours, he has had no trouble. His brother-in-law who owns a lawn mowing service has to borrow it often while his Toro ztr's are in the shop.

I looked at them when I was shopping for my zero turn and ALMOST bit the bullet on one. My biggest issue was lack of dealer support in my area. At the time there was only one dealer and he was shady at best. Since then another dealer has popped up and he seems to have a lot of good reviews around the community. I ended up going with the Hustler Fastrak and I love it! Do wish the deck stood up though...

I have one, and yes, the stand up deck is a nice feature, but it does take a bit of effort to do it. If you have a bad back, better get someone else to do it.

I think I'll keep my Dixie Chopper. Starting my 10th year of mowing with it and have had ZERO problems.

Have two. Bought a 48" and couldn't keep the wife off it long enough to mow my area of responsibility. So I picked up a 60" for myself. Both were used and Joystick controlled. Love them

I have a 10 year old ex mark with 4000 hours on it, other than 3,kohler engines, and 2 hydro pumps, it's been a great machine.

Being a young guy(just turned 24) I don't have a problem with that yet. My dad had my mom push on the rear of the mower as a counter weight(no comments from any of you)
and that makes it really easy to lift.

We have 3 dealers within 20 miles. I was glad for that. Also my biggest question to the dealer when we were looking to buy new was support and he said it was excellent from the factory.

I bought one 9 years ago. I have 677 hours on it. I couldn't live here on these two acres without it. Dealers are getting scarce around me, but I had the hydrostatic belt break last week and I called the dealer 25 miles away. He said he was coming to Kearney that day and brought the belt and installed it.....how's that for service? I have gone through about 4 mower belts in the nine years, but a couple were probably my fault. The neighbors borrow it from time to time when their Toro's are in the shop.

My dad has one, going on 4 years now. After an exhaustive search on his part, he finally choose the Country Clipper. He has used 2 or 3 different brands/colors and really likes his Clipper. He has always used a garden tractor style mower in the past but it took 5+ hours to mow around the farm. It took me a few years to convince him a zero-turn is what he needs to reduce mowing time. And so the hunt began. He will go to great lengths to share with anyone about the Country Clipper. So, I agree, if you are in the market for a new mower, check out the Clipper.

Best mowing maachine I've ever had. I mow 5 1/2 acres each time it needs mowing and I've had my Clipper 6 years with 542 hours on it and it's like new. I had one hydraulic pump belt break and the dealer repaired it same day I called him. I lift the 60 inch deck with a chain hoist as i'm too weak to do it. Love the joy stick.
