Wico X Update!

Alright, took me 1 1/2 hours to figure it out, but I finally realized that the COIL is not any good. Points are fine, condenser is fine, but the Coil is not working. Took it out and cleaned up the points and stuff, but still no go. Pops thinks that NAPA may be able to get one. Anyone have a good idea as of where to get one for a respectable price?

Thanks for all the advice guys!

I messed with the advance snapper thing, and ended up coiling the spring TWO more times, and it now SNAPS nice and crisp like the other one does. Cleaned/Lubed EVERYTHING (that needed it) and now it is looking, and soon to be working much better!!

Thanks again for the help..... Bryce

I get coils from an ebay store called markscarb.
NAPA and Carquest can get coils. I'm betting it will be $100 from them.

Not necessarily a parts seller, but this web site has helped me a few times:

Check parts here on this site. They have parts for wico mags and are priced in line with other suppliers. They ship quick too.
