Working on the 9N

Had a chance last weekend to really work on the 9N. New ignition parts, plugs wires, plugs points condenser, all the good stuff. Fixed up some shaky electrical components and then broke the thermostat off inside the housing. So I had to tap it and pull part of the old plug out. Now I have a bolt in there to keep the antifreeze from leaking. Then I put her to work pulling the 2 bottom dearborn plow I fixed last year. Worked her good and got a lot of dirt turned.

Glad you got some seat time.
I'm at least 3 weeks away from seat time.
I'm confused by how you broke thermostat inside a housing since they be in upper rad hose.

I think he's talking about the add-on temp gauge at the lower left
of his dash. Probably tapped into the side of the flat head.

Glad to see another one back at work though!
Good luck with your pan-fishes Howdy! :)

Add on makes sense.
Crank should be done this week and order parts after.
Someday hope to have a 'Carb by Royce'

"Someday hope to have a 'Carb by Royce''"

Let me know when you're ready for it!
I usually turn them around in a week to 10 days.

Here's one set of before and after pictures.
You may have seen them before. This was off the "crispy" Jubilee.
I hope to have that finished in a couple of weeks.
