I need help with the engine oil dipstick. My "stopper" on the dipstick slid upwards, and now I don't know how far the dipstick goes into the crankcase. Was wondering if someone who owns a cub cadet 782D could pull their dipstick and measure from bottom of dipstick to the "stopper" so I know how to fix it.

Drain the oil, Put in the required amount, Put in the dip stick a little at a time till the full mark is touched, mark the stick and tack the stopper. Jim
