Auction that I posted about before is now listing a 966 IH hydro with a claimed under 5000 hours! Now I'm really starting to question gett my knee done.

I always figure my troubles have just begun when I have the high bid. Buying it is the easy part. Paying for it, getting it home, and explaining why you needed it...that's where it gets hard.

I don't bid on anything unless I've looked at it myself and I' m not going to make it there to look the stuff over. So that means online for this one is out.

Been 3 weeks now but I'm getting told to stay home ab sit for at least another 3 weeks.

The on top of it all, all the layed on support is proving that the best laid plans wind up in the litter box.

I'm very glad you're feeling well. You had a knee replacement? Please give your knee a chance to fully heal before working it too hard. If farming is too much temptation to re-injure your knee, seriously consider renting out your land for a year until you are fully recovered. It will pay-off in the long run.

I wouldn't do it with an item like a tractor, but the best deal I ever got at an auction was a phone-in bid. Bought a
pretty nice 12'IH #37 disc for $200. In this part of the world that's a $1000 implement!
Maybe you can have someone you trust go and look it over for you??

Rick, just had an artery graft done the 24th of March,small toe removed on the 4ht of April, and am sitting in a hospital bed right now after having about half of my big toe removed. Doctor is saying that I can go home this afternoon and if that is the case I am planning on going to an auction this weekend as there is a piece of equipment that I need and this is the only one I have seen. I will just suck it up and try to find something to sit on. Forgot, I only have one leg to go along with all of this. If you were closer I would grab you and go to your auction and we could lean on each other.

UD LOL yea that's what I'll do. The sad part is that a simple call to the banker and it would be mine. They also have a Ford 2000 with loader listed.

In too Deep. Yep that's the one. Good auction company and I like how they conduct their auctions. You want to draw it out and be slow bidding yer gonna hear sold! Big deal around here. I suspect that they will have to go to 3 rings pretty soon. It's a long day if you stay for everything.

The only help I'd have for this weekend is a friend who is anything but reliable. If I called he say sure I'll go then at the last minute have something else come up. Generally where he thinks he could make a few bucks. Good long time friend but he's not aging well.

We would make a pair!
