Anybody going? Plan on going, not bringing anything, but still should be a good weekend. Yt get together???

I'm in a funny situation , I'm gonna send two of my tractors with the guy across the street! Look for a DC in it's work clothes and a center headlight , and a freshly painted '40 Case VC. I've got some walking issues , should be ready to go to Vista in June ....

My RANT. Just to add a side note. You folks out there are a little dry now? What makes me laugh is the ECO nuts on the radio telling us how ALMONDS take a gallon per nut to grow. I cannot wait till they all starve! There are about 100 million too many people out there as it is. When the growers are pumping ground water down 400+ feet and it is brackish ...do you think the water table is getting a little too low? Sooooo, they are building plants to desalt sea water and they are going to cost mega bucks and now the ECO nut case bozos are crying that the sea is going to he!! because of the plant putting the salt back. How much stupider is it going to get? That's enough.

This helps me with the walking issues when they are allowed.

Wish I could. I lived in Fresno for 6 years during mid 70s -never new about anything in the area. After moving back to MN in late 70s I'd been bitten by the old iron bug, aquired several tractors and many hit miss engines. Would like to make it back to the area once more. Always nice weather!

I'd like to get down there, but it is always right when I am in my busy season. Wish it was a month earlier. This year would have been a good year to go since fuel prices are down...

Problem is, Beverly Hills people will just pay the ticket and keep watering; they don't care about the money. Folks around here are having their wells dry up. We're doing everything we can to avoid water usage (If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down.) We're going to let our lawns go to brown and hope they can rebound when this nightmare is over. Also, since we only have pasture right now and no animals, we're not irrigating.

True, some will abuse, you simply cut them off. However, most will obey (in sacramento especially) and that would help our problem. Plus if we stopped shipping water to LA then at least the folks that already conserve (no. cal) wouldn't be squished as badly.

real simple ANY ONE IN THE UNITED STATES THAT DON'T AGREE 100% WITH THE WAY OUR FOUNDING FATHERS WROTE THE CONSTUTION GIVE THEM A ONE WAY TICKET TO ANY COUNTRY THAT BELEIVES IN WHAT THEY DO. I believe the population in this country would be about half of what it is today. Guess what your water problem would be solved, and a lot of other problems would be also solved.

That's true. Just when we didn't think we could squeeze any more, they sent it down south where the population just kept on watering. This is the 4th year of the drought and forecasters say we better get used to it. The problem is the water tables are diminishing...there simply is no water. There has been no rain. Some folks are finding humor in this situation and feel we are getting what we deserve. Believe me, there's nothing to laugh at.

Put me on the list . I'm down by Whittier (L.A.) so it's a drive , but I'm gonna plan on it .
