Today. I need some lumber to fix up my old barn before haying. We went a cut a few logs today. The old Massey 65 did pretty well for being a little light in the pants.

We have my dads woodmizer but haven't used it since he passed away six years ago. I just haven't found time to get it running and learn how to use it.

Brendon. Take a bit of time and get that wood mizer going. they are a great mill and easy to use. You mentioned below that you were going to saw with a hand saw mill??? Not sure what that may be, but if it is a rail system with a chain saw, you will make as much sawdust as lumber and it will take forever to do it.

That was supposed to say band saw mill. I wouldn't torture myself with one of those chainsaw ones. My uncle has a small one. Norwood maybe? Do you need some slabwood?

I have a friend who is looking for a sawmill, please tell me more about your mill and where it is located.
Thanks Jo

I too am looking for a woodmizer mill and would like to know more about it and where you are located if you don't mind. email open, if not shout back here. Thanks, Mike.

Looks good. I'm about to move a circular mill to my property. But when I need 20-40' lengths, it'll still be chainsaw milling, which really is not so slow IF the saw's set up correctly. Boles that large are interesting to move. This one scaled out 500 bd ft.
