Around here, it's 'how deep do you want to fall in?' Will need 4-5 nice days before I can even think about going....

Allan, I sure hope you've got a good radio to listen too! OR, you've got a lot to think about out there! Sure looks lonely !!! Jim in N.M.

Sure doesn't look like mudhole country to me, Allan. Does look like a nice day to be workin' ground, though.

I still remember how strange it felt the first time I was in flat country with no defined horizon, when I was about 10 years old. Flat portion of eastern Washington around Moses Lake. I'm used to seeing tree covered hills within 2 or 3 miles, wherever I am in western Washington.

Reminds me of the time my uncles were planting a bottom the neighbors came over and told them when you got to have 2 tractors on the planter it's to wet to plant.i think it was the same year one was working on each side and there were ducks swimming in the middle

It is a bad idea planting when it is that wet, the mud seals the sides of the furrow, then the roots cannot penetrate sideways.

Corn is being planted all around me today,4/14/15.. We are 4 inches short on rain too.
