Automoblies maker

I had a guy ask me yesterday at a car show this question: Henry Ford had four sons name the companies that they started up that made Automoblies? I started to think about this and what parts had interchanged on cars. Then I answered back the four Automoblie makers. I must had got it right the man look shocked and he said to me you got it. Do you know the answer to this qustion must people do not. We want to say we are car buffs but do we understand the history behind the car makers and how they tried to be a success but some how had failed instead. So who is out here can tell me this answer want to give a try go ahead.

Henry only had one son, Edsel, and we all know what was named after him. Will be interested to see what your answer is.

Im sure this will turn out to be some fancy riddle, Henry Ford only had one son, Edsel.
But you said, "he had four sons name" that doesnt imply they were Henrys sons.

The OP flunked third grade English Language class. There should be a comma between the words sons and name. (...four sons, name the...). He forgot commas in four or five other places, and uses fractured sentence structure.
This besides stating that Henry ford had four sons. He only had one, Edsel. Edsel also had one son, Henry II.
Many people claim that punctuation is not important. Without punctuation useage, the intent of the writer can easily be unclear. With two of my sisters being elementary school teachers, this was constantly pounded into my head. The series of three dots, used twice in my second line, is called an elipsis. It is used to indicate that words before and after, and not germain to the topic, are omitted.
End of rant.

Maybe the OP was thinking of the offspring of General Fransisco Motors? The boys, Pontiac and Buick, the girls Chevy and Opel (mother of Saturn)?

That is why I have trouble with the English language since I bean in this country.
Some words mean the same, but pronounced different.
Some wyrds are spelt same but mean different thangs.
I give up!"

Willie, It sounds like maybe you are important. That's nice, but it is important to be nice.

Ya think English is bad? Spanish is just as bad. Same word, spelling, and pronunciation in many cases mean two completely different things.
Example: Nada. Most of the time it means nothing. Also means to swim. You raise your car with a gato. Also means CAT. There are many others.

I put this question on this site just lkeit was said to me. My answer was this In 1908 there was a model T which was know to be a Lizzie she had no last name. We think that she was the apart of the Ford Family. Henry Ford bought out the Model A line of cars he had bought seven body styles and eight colors. This was back in 1928. Lincoln line of cars was name after a president Henry Martin Leland had walked out of Cadilic. The Lincoln where out of a frazzled remains of a company which Henry Ford first started up but left in disgust. Henry Leland Lincoln line than went threw court battles with Henry Ford leading toEdsel Ford in takeing over Lincoln Automoblies. Than latter came Edsel Fords other half of lincolns which is now called Mercury. Henry Ford Secound Had started up the Edsel line of fords cars. Not bearing the name of Ford but instead this all ford car but called it EDSEL. Interesting enough the car never caught on. Which meant the car ended up disappering.
I think that some people when asking a question they try to throw you off when they say the wrong question. Yes I did tell the man Henry ford only had one son name Edsel Ford. I just wanted to see what all of you had to say about it. THANK YOU you did get it almost right..

I agree. I know automotive history fairly well, but I could not make any sense out of either his question or his answer.
