Hey Bryce, something to go with the stump

I used to find these as a kid walking the river beds. They are called conglomerates. Never figured they were worth much. Might have missed making my million.

I'm rich I know I can come up with a few dump truck loads.Although when I worked for the concrete company there was a woman that sculptured concrete to look like big rocks and they cost plenty. The did look exactly like rocks not concrete when she was thru with them.

NICE!

Amazes me as to what these people try to sell....

Let the bidding begin!

I can hardly wait to see what tomorrow CL find of the day is!!!! :)

Yep. My brother is in the excavating business and collects them. Picks them up whenever he finds one.

I do not know who the Leroy is that is trying to sell stones but it definatly is not me and that has been by handle on this site for 18-19 years.

yep , we have lots if them 1 hour east of my place . in fact they named a road Puddingstone Road . Some peole make jewlery from them by braking the stome and polising it .

Larry -- ont.

Y'all laugh, but folks in the pricey 'burbs pay good money for stones to put in their landscape.

Leroy is the name of the town. Bet'cha didn't know you had one named after you did you?

I worked with a guy that had gone to Detroit to work after he got out of school. The Detroit locals were kidding him about being an Arkansas barefoot hillbilly. He grinned and said that if you drive through the Ozarks your likely to see an guy like me sitting on the porch of a cabin wearing overalls with one suspender and barefoot. He will have a bucket of rocks with a 4 sale sign..."y'all know who he sells them rocks to?"
The kidding stopped.

OMG!!!! COME ON PEOPLE!!! Sad thing is that SOMEONE is going to buy that too....

I have to go outside... Have a fortune to make... :)

We have someone in the area who makes big one to cover propane tanks. Cabin people love them.
