Crimson clover

Any body on here live in south Georgia?
If so, do they have crimson clover growing in the meridian strip of the interstate highway as they did several years ago?
In the early spring it was heap purty when in bloom, looked likeum a field of strawberrys.
Another purty sight wuz when going into Watsonville, Californy, as when coming down the hill and into the valley hundreds of acres of strawberry fields, straight as a gun barrel and not a weed anywhere to be seen, purty as a picture.
There are other purty places I can't recall as of now.

You can see crimson clover all over the south.
When ever they do some dirt work in the neutral ground in the late summer they spray it with crimson clover seed.
It grows fast; grows in cool weather; tolerates low fertility and acid soil; and it does not get real tall as the mowing crew are off for the winter.

To the South of me some of the larger corn growers will broadcast it from an airplane in the standing corn in early Sept so its everywhere and it take root about in any soil.
