This K2 looks like a bargain at $4500 after seeing that straight K bring $8000 last fall. Pretty sharp machine,but still a little more than I want to pay right now.

That spike cylinder would kill it for a lot of people,that's usually found in southern combines.Here in ohio that's about top money.
 
If trucking wasn't so bad I'd be right on that. It has the late (and best) style header. Would be an awesome soybean machine with the spike cylinder and bucket elevators.
 
Ya,I had a JD 40 with a spike. They were popular here in Michigan for edible beans.
 
RR send me an e-mail if you are serious . I know of a F II diesel with grain header for less. LOTS less.
 
I don't know if I'd want to pay trucking that far. There was an M diesel with a grain head here on an auction Saturday. That one brought $1600. I passed because it was bigger than I wanted. An F or F II would be about as big as I'd want. A K or C would suit me better.
 
I saw a nice JD 4400 rotary screen combine with a 215 flex head sell on an estate auction here in ohio last week.It was a one owner stored inside.They said it had new cylinder bars last year.It brought $3200.
 
Hey Randy, this what you're looking for? It's my brother's and has been setting at my shop since last fall. He thinks he would like to sell it, I think I would like it out of my way lol. He has a K2 diesel and an M2, and dad has a K2 diesel and a K2 gas, they are very reliable combines and do a wonderful job in the field for their age.

I might be interested a little closer to oat harvest. I just bought that new discbine,and it's time to buy fertilizer,so I'd better close up the checkbook for a few months.
 
Can't say that I've been right in Pinconning,but we go up around there every fall color touring. We usually make a loop over that way and go back over to Grayling to the cabin.
