Tractor transporting

When I worked at the truck dealer there was a really old metal framework out back with a tin roof on it. This had IIRC 2 chain hoists in it. You pulled under it and chain hoisted the front of the truck up and pulled the others out from under it and so on.
I left there right about the time Navistar streamlined the fronts of the trucks so I don't know how it would work on these new plastic front end models but the old ones with metal bumpers and tow hooks it was pretty easy to get an attachment point.

When I worked at a truck dealer, they have a pivoting saddle that clamps to
the truck frame and steer axle. Take steer tires off, pull rear axles.
We had a gantry crane to unstack them. Kind of like boats, the yard has a
gantery crane.

The freight carrier I worked for called a wrecker in to assist with the process.

That was a few years back. They may have a better way now.

Last place I worked they added/replaced ~150 new rigs every year.
Used 2 forklifts, with forks ~2 ft apart held with a safety chain. With one on each side, lift by steering tires, drive the bottom one away, let that one down, reset & do it again. Could break down a set of 4 in less than an hour, & have in shop for final prep.

I did some of that ,But that was before I went to work for you. Back at that time I>H> had decking racks. 2 chain falls one would roll right to left the other would roll front to back. It was a snap to load or unload.
