Good thing you don't have a railroad by your field to make some surprising noises you're hoping not to hear.
 
That girl is strong as an ox! I pull a 36 footer with an 8430 JD articulated four wheel drive. If I hit a sticky spot it is all that big tractor wants.
 
Thats called a DISK. It has several steel DISKS that are shaped in a way to roll the dirt one way then the back set of disks are facing the other way that roll the dirt the other way leaving level ground IF the machine is set level when in the ground. Big machine for sure. Nice equipment too !!
 
Good lookin' rig, good luck with that tractor and it's repair job. That's the tractor you nartrowed up the duals on isn't it? Gosh, I've always liked the looks of those 88 series IH's...Sure better looking than anything built now I think....of the Case IH's for sure.
 
Thanks. I know what a disc is and how it works. I did farm for a while. Just wondering about size/horsepower.
