Ever wonder why it seems....

that the guys with the JD tractors drive GMC/Chevy and the guys that run Red drive Ford. Might not be the case everywhere but it seems to be that way a lot places I've been around the country.

All John Deeres and Ford Trucks here....

Oliver and Ford here. I always said though, some think farming is John Deere,Chevy pickups and Pioneer seed.

I guess I'll side with Tim too.. Ford trks & J/D's here...
I'm a parts manager @ a New Ford Store & don't think it's
right to bite the hand that helps feed me. I know Ford has
made some units that haven't been good, but I've never had one.
Same goes for Deere, we just don't buy those.

But I believe if the horse is running, & the horse has
treated you right, you'd better stay in the saddle. Have
ever had much of any issue's with a John Deere or a Ford
car/truck. We've had some GM's, & Had some weird once in
a life time issues like sand hole in Block, cam shafts.

Allis and Ford for us. Have liked some Chevy pickups but after the government had to bail out GM and Ford didn't ask for a dime Im staying Ford.

I have read that it is the same way with rifles, the guys who drove chev. trucks shoot Winchester rifles and the guys who drive Ford trucks shoot Remington.

Dont know if it is true or not. I have spent 40 years driving Fords and now own two G.M. vehicles. ( Darn GM card.) I shoot mostly Remington but have several Winchesters, along with other brands.

Farmalls and Chevys for me, but i like anything old. And I hunt with a Remington 700 .270 and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Around here, mostly Ford/New Holland tractors with Deere coming in 2nd,and 75% Chevy followed by Dodge-maybe a few Fords.Mark

Ford and John Deere for the most part here. To throw a wrench in the mix, I do also have an Allis 5040, two 8N's, Farmall A and a '46 Chevy pickup in addition to my John Deere tractors.

I have JD, Case, Cockshutt, David brown, Ford, Chevy, Jeep, Winchester, Remington, Savage, Colt, Smith& Wesson, Ithaca and the list goes on. I don't think there's a bit of correlation between any of it.

I have 2 ford trucks, 2 ford tractors, a farmall H, 3 Chevy trucks and a dodge Dakota. There is a family down the road that love Chevys and international tractors. I guess I'm an odd guy with my mix of trucks and tractors.

I have been a Ford man since day 1 (My Dad thought maybe they got the wrong baby from the hospital) I also have been a John Deere man always. Now to throw a monkey wrench in your theory....I like Marlin, and Savage rifles.
Oh yeah, I am left handed too...............The ultimate oddball.

The old IH dealer here also sold Chevys. I have IH, Ford and AC tractors. JD hay equipment and Dodge, Ford and Chevy trucks. But I have bought my last Chevy.

My guess is you need a big bank account to buy JD tractors and maintain Chevy trucks. :D

Hmmmm...I have IH equipment but my truck is a 1976 Chebbie C20. But just because it was the first old truck to come down the pike when I was looking. My car is a Ford.

OOOOL but FORD WAS THERE with their hand out just like the rest until the man insulted them about flying in with a Lear jet and holding out their tin cups,THEY ALL PLAYED THE GOVERNMENT LIKE A FINE TUNED FIDDLE in one way or another they seized on the moment

I must be the odd one out.
I have red tractors and drive GMC's.

The neighbors have JD and dodges.
Ford is a cuss word in these parts

GMC, Chevy, and Dodge BUILD TRUCKS.....?? The only trucks I even look at a Ford - and - BTW - tractors are RED.

Dodge, Chevy, Toyota, Deere, IH, Case, Oliver, Ford on this farm. I haven't seen any correlation between Deere and Chevy or Ford and CIH and Ford or Chevy in my neck of the woods.

There is a farming area near me where everyone is the same nationality and related to each other and go to the same church and most of them drive Fords. The Chevy owners are the outlaws and the Toyota owners are sacreligious. LOL
