It's most annoying that frequently your pictures won't open up on this wretched machine of mine. Modern view doesn't help.

Does this mean the big red horse is all better again? If that's what's off and running, did you run fast enough to avoid the bill? Or do you know the damages?

(quoted from post at 02:56:46 03/29/15) Looking good !! We still have some snow and lots of frost. Your land is so far ahead of us ,it almost hurts to look at the picture. But it still looks good.

Here in NH it snowed all day yesterday and is 15 degrees right now.

Nope,

Neither the 966 or 5488 are home from the hospital yet. Can't wait, so I'm using the 1066 to flip some ground.

Ya got the wrong wheel in the furrow.

Looking good. I sure miss plowing. Must be something about the sounds and smell of the earth.

Here in Vermont we are like Bruce said = 4 feet of frost still in ground. It will be around may 1 before we hit the land.

Field work is 3 or 4 weeks away here. The lakes and smaller rivers are still iced over in Central MN. This week the first barges of the season made it to Lock #2 on the Mississippi River in St.Paul, MN. Woke up this morning to robins singing and a warm 37F.

In sw wi Amish started plowing a couple weeks ago .then they traded the mold board for the snow plow after 14 inches of snow .they were out yesterday they only plow about 4 inches deep. Regular farmers still waiting and it's raining now.

It's a 145. Just put shares, shins and trash boards on it this year. All parts straight from IH and made in USA. :>)

A little jealous. Had over a foot of fresh snow over the last week and its currently snowing/sleeting/raining. Temp yesterday morning was -10*. Any field work is 4 to 6 weeks off UP here.

Allan: How much ground do you still plow??? Around here you just about never see any ground plowed anymore.

On my home farm the FSC says I am not allowed to plow any of it as it all is highly erodible land according to them. That is funny as we plowed it all of the time in years past and had little erosion. The crop strips and dams stop just about all erosion unless we get hammered with heavy rains. Even then the soil is mostly caught at the damns. I usually haul it back up to the top the next spring.

Its doing a nice job, must pull easy, that warm spell must have dried things up, see some green poking through, froze solid here this morning, 10 deg F, sun is shining, not a cloud in the sky, going to be a nice one, as the sun is much stronger.

Ground here in mid-Michigan still a little hard for getting implements to penetrate. Ice fishing pretty risky, only for foolhardy! Rain/Snow mix forecast for this afternoon. Don't think I'll have the oats in this week.

I am surprised to see you ploughing in western Neb that’s pretty dry county to turn soil over and exposes to the sun and wind
