Case 1150 b Dozer

Dozer will crank but has knocking noise in rear of engine or flywheel area, the Dozer will run but will not move the drive shaft will not turn nor will the hydraulics work any clues to my problem?

Torque Converter, or drive bolts would be my guess.
Time to pull it apart.

Torque convertor has gear-set in back portion that drives hyd & charge pumps. I think some had a 4-bolt plate that you can take off & see some of the gears,or plug/fitting on bottom-look for teeth. have seen charge pump gear fail, can take it all out.

whoops got ahead of myself on other post--forgot how flexplate fastened] FIRST pull bottom plate nearest flywheel. several thin plates stacked together, bolt to outer edge of flywheel with 3/8 bolts spaced very close. these plates bolt to convertor @ center.& can break. verify all turns together. post findings please--most I worked on turned out to be my other post. lotsa luck----
