Haulin Trailer

Found a guy who has one of these little toys. Looks like 4x8 with a very nice bed and it is clean. I offered $300.oo. Now where is the stupid serial number tag or plate? I could not lift the bed cause as you see it is covered with junk. I thought it maybe along the rail and covered by the bed when it is in the down position. I have seen several posts on here about how neat these trailers are. Ohhhhh. by the way, He never registered the thing. Bought it from a neighbor years ago and that is that. If I buy it, it is going to be a load of fun. Sounds like it is time to swap plates around with my other trailer and the heck with it???? I know they no longer are in business so what ever.

A lot of those little just had a sticker with number on them and over time they come off. Depending what state your in and if trailer has no number and you need one you can weld your owen number on frame or stamp it.

Yea I went to the DMV and she gave me the phone number for central. She said I might be able to do that but I would like to make it legal if possible. I looked up Haulin web site and the logo is correct but there is nothing like those little guys. Oh well here I go on another tangent. Maybe give them a phone call.

I have a Haulin trailer that looks like that and it still has a sticker on the front rail near the center. Rated at 1600 lbs, but I would and have never loaded it that heavy.
It has traveled thousands of miles, some at 75mph, literally bouncing along empty in the California and Arizona mountains.
For me it was the best choice for moving households from Iowa to CA and to AZ. Mine has a handy tilt bed (gotta remember to put the lock pin back in!) and I installed a found hand winch on the tongue in front of the bed and have winched heavy objects up the tilted bed or simply locked down a dead lawn tractor against the front end gate.

What my favorite features are that it is light enough to push around empty and the fenders are flush so one can load a 48 inch LT with grass chute or anything wider than the deck. I have had one bearing seize and I managed to clean the axle and hub for a new one. Working after 10 years or more. I think it is about 20 years old. Original tires...gotta keep them pumped up to 75? lbs. On long trips with load I always feel them with my hand to check for heating when at rest stops.

I have a similar one, No stickers, No tags, no license, etc. In Oregon No license if under 1000 gvw. I use it for hauling mower between houses. It is light enough for me to pick up one end and stand it on end if needed to work wheel brgs etc. Flyweight trailer, flyweight mower, no problem.
