This board seems to cover many areas , so looking for information on the Massey 1155 tractors , are they good or should I stay away . The one I found is to be in good condition and ready for the field ,has working muti power . Also anyone know how many produced . I will post on the Massey board also , Thanks
 
Ive had this one a few years now, bought it with a completely stuck engine, replaced it with one from a MF 860 combine. Only problem Ive had with it since was it spilled the hydraulic oil out the rear end when an assistor ram seal went and I didnt notice, I was travelling on the road with a trailer at the time. Powerful old beast and very manoverable.

IF you want to farm with one I would RUN!!!! That V-8 engine can be a money PIT!!! Then you add in a rear end and transmission that seemed to break regularly then you have the total deal with them. I bet that it is "cheap" and your looking for a bigger tractor??? Keep looking unless your just collecting.
 
The engine was one thing that was on my mind , they are old now and not used in that many tractors . Thanks I will keep looking.
 
Good looking tractor , the one I found looks about the same . That engine is not used in other tractors around here , more 850 combines at wreckers . Thanks
