where's all the stuff?

Jon,
Look in site comments. The view had to be changed for phones per Google rules.

May be a possible future link coming to give phone users a "desktop" view.

(quoted from post at 11:40:09 03/23/15) The stuff on the left with all the links to the site?

It's there in "classic" view, but not in "modern". Might be it had to change to accomodate "smart phone" users? I don't know. I accessed YT one time on my smartphone. Quickly gave up on that idea and went to this desktop.

On your phone, click on the "Brands" link in the top black bar to get the forum brand / page links.

Click on "Resources" also in the top black bar to show what others see as a sidebar when on a desktop computer.

I tried to make the most used items available quickly from the top black bar for mobile phones.

The only thing that changed for me on Classic was that the pic. of the day, and question/pole of the day are lined up under the now bigger discusion forum menu.

No, not unless we are forced to change the design for tablets. For now, we are only being told we have to comply with mobile phone screen sizes.

iPads and tablets can handle full websites just fine, in my experience. Does the full site work okay on your tablet? I've only used an iPad so I don't know how it looks on other brands.

Because it's FREE and sometimes they have to make a change to accommodate some additional feature or add security. I know we are all creatures of habit but when a service such as this is totally free of charge....we need to just go with the flo.

I use a tablet and it's changed on here. Nothing on the side where it used to be. Now that I know where to find it it's ok.

Here is what I get now.

I just switched to classic view. Looks fine to me. Everything is on the left.

I hardly ever use the stuff on the left anymore, so I don't miss it in modern view. It gives me more room on the screen to view threads.

If I need to use the stuff on the left, I simply right-click on the icon in the top left, and select "open link in new tab."
