Hot time in the old town tonight!

Yesterday I spent the day burning prairie pasture and the waterway on the quarter of ground beside the house. My gosh that just exhausts me. Maybe it is the swinging of the wet gunny sack that does it. I have one more set of waterways on another quarter this morning. Looks to be a perfect day. There aren't any trees or fences so I may not even need the gunny sacks. Good thing - I don't think I have any grip left in these hands! Sorry to all of you guys who can't see the pasture yet.

This country doesn't burn anything! We have had red flag days for most of the last month! If we see smoke around here, we all come a runnin!!

Would take too long to shovel the snow off to burn the grass.
