International 424 Brakes

Looking at a IH 424 diesel and it needs brakes how big of a job is it to put in new brakes?

Hi, sometimes all you have to do is pull the brake housings/drums off, cleanup the ramp and rollers, check the springs and roughen up the glaze on the disks. Plenty of articles in archives about the brakes on B414,434,384,424,275,276 plus other models that all the same.

Yep, simple job unless they are oil soaked.
Parts are readily available, just have it all clean and lubricate the balls and ramps with graphite powder.
They work ok if set up correctly
