Don't forget that Friday is the equinox so day and night are almost equal. There is an eclipse over the northern Atlantic and if you live on the east coast at sunrise you should catch some of it. It is only going to be partial here with total up in Norway. Always just miss um.

I almost missed the Northern Lights last night. I was in bed watching the 10 o'clock news and they said they were visible. I got up and looked out the window. Sure enough,a green glow. Not the best I've ever seen, but they were there.

My dad told me tonight I might be able to see them? He said he saw them a few times here in NY over the years, but I have not got the chance to see them. Is that the aroura borealis? Lol

The news said that the sun burped, but didn't say why. Actually a comet came close to the sun & reacted to each other electrically.

I've seen them a number of times in NY, from here in the Catskills and very well when I lived in Potsdam.

I could barely see a green glow last night as far as the NLs go. The lights from Brockville weren't helping. It was a very clear night here. Almost like a full moon. The sun isn't up enough for an eclipse yet.
