Crop GPS question

I think of this about two times a year:

I use Raven GPS units in the tractors for spraying and
planting. Is there any kind of iPhone app that I could use to
spray 24D on my yard? I use a pull sprayer and overlap a little
but thought it would be helpful if there was an app I could start
with my phone on the hood of the mower. I've searched but
didn't know what to search I guess. I can't be the first one to
wonder about it.

I dont think your phone will ever offer enough accuracy. If you happen to have a warm season grass yard that is brown in the winter you can add dye to your product tank to color your pass. If you have a cool season grass you'll just have to guess or install RTK on your yard sprayer. I suppose I could add RTK and auto-steer to my old Deere 318 lawn tractor

Does not take long to spray yard, this is what I do. Cut rate in half and half lap sprayer. Meaning put end of boom between tire tracks. Easy to see and excellent coverage.

I pulled the foam markers off the field sprayer because of GPS and they were a hot mess. Maybe I could put those on the yard sprayer. That wouldn't be a disaster bolting that controller to the hood of the rider. Then I would need to put in a fuse panel. Next would be to belt up an alternator to run the pump and controller. Then a select switch to turn off spray tips (even though it only has three).

I would get just as stressed as I do when I have a 60 foot sprayer going through the beans. Worse - this yard is full of trees. Ugh. Maybe I should just turn the cattle out into the yard and forget it all!

I know you said Iphone, this is for Android, got a tablet with gps?

I'm going to try it this spring spreading fertilizer on my hay fields.
