f 12 head bolt torque

Anyone know what ft/lb torque is for a 1934 F 12?

Can it be done cold or do I have to warm it up.

Also, is there a particular sequence that I should use on the bolts?

Thanks for your help.

I don't know the desired torque value, but I suggest that you look in the appendix of any auto repair manual for a good "ball park" estimate. Go by the bolt size, and they usually have a chart that tells you the recommended torque.
Torque should ALWAYS be done COLD. After all, would you start up an engine when the head is not torqued? That would be a sure formula for a blown head gasket. Bolts may be recommended to be re-torqued after warmup.

Bumblebee, F-12 manual doesn't have head torque
I always used C-113 A,B or C torque of 65 lbs
Than re torque after warm. oldiron29

You will find all the F series manuals lack torque values, because almost no one had torque wrenches, not even the dealers. And IH made all their own bolts to their standards. Use Oldirons advice on torquing the head. You will find hard studs in places like the head and rod caps, wheel attaching bolts, things like that. But most of the rest of them are somewhat better than grade 2 but lesser than grade 5.
