I don't know where you are, but the land sounds cheap. Nephew lives up around Bloomsdale and that type would be selling for $4K. Here in central IL, some sold close to Clinton Lake in Dewitt county for $9+. It had some tillable and pasture and brush. Good black is still $10-11K.

That D6 looked good but high priced.

I would think if that much land was in pasture and timber it probably is not $10,000 an acre land. Might have been logged heavy. Need a soil map and walking beforing pricing. Almost all the ground around here that is in pasture and woods is that way for a reason.

That 2-105 held it's value didn't it? There's an old 2-85 without a loader coming up here in a few weeks. That one's an aftermarket cab,bet it won't come close to that.

I looked at a lot of land down there 15 years or so ago. It was $400-600 an acre back then. I guess it hasn't gone up as much as it has in other parts of the country though.

To me the cheapest thing you mentioned was the old McCormick, and the highest was the old D 6 cat. Man can buy a good d6 b power shift for that 12,000 or just a little more. Thanks for the photos and information.

I thought it was a little cheap, man told me he gave a thousand for the tractor and 75 hundred for the great bend loader.. LOL Someday you going to get over this oliver thing.. LOL Good to hear for you guess you and the cows made it thru the winter. OH I WAS NOT AT THE SALE

I would have loved to get the land at that price. IMHO the tractors went for too much. Well if the Ford 640 ran it'd be a good deal.

The Ford had a recent tune up and ran nicely..Before it sold several of us guessed the farm at $1750-2000 per acre..There was too much timber to sell for more...Good tillable ground goes for $2500-3500 per acre in southwest MO where this sale was held..

I must have peaked in the Oliver thing. I was feature collector in the March/April issue of Hart Parr Oliver Collector Magazine. It's all down hill from here, nothing else to achieve. lol
