Why do we need to sign in now.?

What has changed, that we now need to sign IN every time we enter this site, along WITH a new password...???

Maybe I have changed some setting..?

Does anyone else go thru this every time now.?

Nothing changed with mine. They require everybody who posts to register now to eliminate spam and people hiding behind a phony name,but your computer should remember the name and password I'd think.

I couldn't tell you the last time I logged in. Is your computer set to a privacy/security setting that dumps cookies?

Hi, if you look at your post, just to the right
you see "modern view" and your name
logged out or in. Touch that and see if that logs you in.

If your computer is set to erase browsing memory and cookies every time you leave the site you will have to sign in every time you return to the site. Happened to me once and I had to do a lot of head scratching before I figured it out.

I always use "Classic View"....I guess time will tell if it continues...

Scroll down to test forum and make a test post.
That will reregister you in Clasic. Once in a great while I have to do that to refill the cookie jar.

I don't have to log in every time. I did have to but it was my computer that wouldn't remember my info.

I always use classic and never need to sign in unless I clear cookies and browsing history.
