If anyone knows of LJ hand, and his farm center/ store, I see he passed away last month. He was a great knowledgable guy who will be missed around here.

I have known Linwood for many years. His daughter has been taking over daily operations for him for several years, as his health deminished.
He indeed was one of the most knowlagable people about all brands of farm equipment that I have known.

Read about that in the Country Folks. Starting to run low on people with that kind of a resume'. Kids today have no idea what these people mean.

Saw the obit in the leader herald.
Great old-school guy.

As a whole, can't find a shop like that anymore.
All employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Always take the time to do a great job of helping customers and fairly price items.

I go to L.J. Hand's all the time. Such a treasure trove of parts and supplies, all under one roof. Best deal around on 7200 Bridon baler twine (the big rolls).

I didn't know he died; too bad. I hope the store doesn't fold or change direction too much.
