I'm converting to 12 volt from 24 I need some help with the wiring do I hook the wires from the circuit breakers to the the battery +?

Simply attach both the brown & blue wires that were attached to the circuit breakers from starter to the top post on the 12 volt solenoid.

I did that. that is all I need to do correct? nothing else in the harness?

All you need to do is hook the brown and blue wires on the same lug at the starter and re-cable the batteries into parallel.

I hooked the excite terminal from the old light into the alternator so the light worked.

It's also a good idea to wire in a starter relay to engage the starter solenoid. I've used Ford starter relays and they work well. Others will work, too. Mike
