stout skid steer attachments

anybody have any experience with stout skid steer attachments? they have several brush/rock grapple buckets new at auction tomorrow. they look decent, wonder if anybody has experience with them. looks like they are built in wisconsin. here is a link

I've got one like that. Works well. Make sure the hoses supplied are long enough and sized well. You have to be pretty careful as the bucket has a long range of motion so the hoses need to be long enough. When hired help runs it they could bust both hoses. Don't ask how I know.

I've amassed as arsenal of attachments that is making life easier. Grapple bucket, tree saw, tree puller, pallet forks, etc.
 
glad to hear that, they are nice looking units, seem well built. maybe i will spend some money tomorrow!!! i have a lot of brush to clean up at the farm and hand loading it in the dump trailer just gets plain old real quick. i had thought about building one but by the time you are done buying the steel and all the fabbing up, way cheaper to buy one.
 
I bought mine new at a consignment sale. There were several there. I have no idea why. I couldn't find anything wrong with it.

I want to say I paid about 1800 for it.
 
I've seen them at consignment sales often. I'd consider them to be lighter duty attachments. Used reasonably they'll probably be ok. I have a Bobcat brand root grapple that'll put them to shame but I spent quite a bit more as well.
 
DECENT UNITS BUT FROM WHAt few times i watch sell just well buy what you want cause seen bring more at auction than buy outright. its alot times always lighter duty stuff don't want really big skidsteer
 
When looking at rough service attachments like rock buckets, grapples, etc., ask what grade steel is used....common mild steel. grade 50, grade 100?
