bp20 bp25 hesston 8610 caseih

My FIL runs his BP25 with an IH 986 with no issues. For his small, one-man operation it is ideal because it is self-loading - don't have to get the loader tractor out to grind hay. As long as shredded hay is what you're after and you're not in a big hurry they work fine. They won't pulverize hay as finely or as quickly as a real grinder so if that is what you are after it may not meet your needs. If coarser hay and a slower pace are what you're after it will do well.

Bought a 8610 few years ago and love it. Was told they weren't any good, but it does what I want it to do. I think it is a good machine. Pulling mine with a 986 and no problem. Would not be with out one now.
