Trucks out of the body shop

Got my truck out of the shop today. Happy about that too, the other was sure a piece of junk compared to mine even tho it had nearly 100,000 miles less. Now to the sign shop for the graphics and she'll be good as new.

Maybe now you'll be a little more attentive about your driving......

Sorry, just had to!

I guess I missed it . Why have you been in the shop. Did you have a wreck. If you had it to do over would you still buy the single axel drive?

After the sign shop, you need to go to someone that runs demolition derby and have them make a front bumper and fender guards. Might come in handy at some truck stop, or in the snow drifts.

Be safe, stay warm.

Specify hand lettering not horrible vinyl. Some variegated leaf lettering would look good on there. If the guy can't do hand lettering he's not a real sign shop.

Humm, this way it kinda looks like your engine is on fire with those flames coming out of the hood. :) Perhaps you should forget the graphics on the hood and instead have them add clouds of black smoke trailing back from the flames.

Looks like a good job to me. The headlights and front bumper lines look straight and even. Now you will be a little jumpy for awhile whenever someone cuts in front of you. Stay safe.

Idiot operator pulled too tight around Jon while he was parked! Took out his left front corner. Looked like he might be from south of the border.

So do you own the tractor and pull darts trailers? I passed a truck today that was pulling a dart trailer and there was a big sign on the back of the trailer with a picture of a guy saying he was happy he put his truck to work working for dart.

Jon how is the fancy seat working out????

Neighbor was over today and the seat in his CIH tractor is broken. We have welded the frame on it twice and replaces all the rollers but it just is worn out. The new replacement seat and suspension is over $2800.

At first I was less than impressed because it takes some getting used too. I even had some trouble with motion sickness and by the time that was past it was hard to tell how much better it was. But when I went back in this truck it showed me that it was clearly better and I can't wait to get back in it. You can go down to the Iowa 80 truck stop on I-80 and get a new air ride seat for less than $1000.00. They have them in stock.

JD, drop down to the Case forum, 1370 Rod just installed a new air ride seat in a 1070. title "Keeping the hired man happy" He mentioned where he got it and it was just under a grand. The thread is likely down a page now.

How are those super singles on snow and ice? They look like they'd be scary in those conditions. Transystems has them on their trucks up here now and it seems there's a lot more sitting along the road if one blows out. When they had duals and had a blow out they could usually limp them in to the shop.
