All States Ag Parts Reconditioned Cylinder Heads

Bret, what's wrong with your head? I have a direct injected head and reground crank. I haven't had the head checked yet but have a pic. Greg

Other than it needs new guides, I don't know exactly because I haven't pulled it off yet. Heck the motor runs pretty good, I watched it pull a stalled 1750 up a steep grade before I bought it and it didn't smoke much. I'm just thinking about rebuilding it eventually, the problem is with my real head! Your head (the one in the picture, not your real head!) looks like mine -- has the same exhaust manifold. I'll get the casting number. If your parting with it I may be interested.

Bret, I was going to put LOL after what's wrong with your head! I am heading out to the freezer to get the number off the head. I would be more worried about bottom end of engine my 2-70 White with same engine ended up with spun bearing because we waited to do rebuild. I was pulling the manure spreader uphill and was running fine when it started squeaking. I can remember exactly where that happened but don't remember what we did for cylinder head work. I do know we had a heck of a time getting injection pump retimed but went back and got timing marks lined up and she fired up. Pic is yesterday afternoon. Greg

Its darn near like being a priest, that is vow of poverty! It was about 21 years ago when I sold the cows now I just help out much better for my sanity. Here's some pics of me in 1993 and my future wife not the black and white one! I was only 29 and she was 23. Those were the day's. Greg

Wow great pictures, good ol days ... the Polaroid and Marlboro is a clue and everybody is young. Even the cows look younger! I grew up hanging around my uncle's dairy farm near Libertytown, Maryland. He was a Farmall man but had an Oliver 77 that I used to drive around. Farmall's, Dodge trucks, Redman chewing tobacco, and 100 octane gas.

Yeah that's a 77 under the snow I just got a carb off ebay for it. The Danish guy holding the camera was her dad and that was his mom. I still have the farm sign that I painted and is on my barn door now. Greg

Come on here! The first think I would check my head when it is off and then find a good local shop and have them do your own head. The key is having the correct valve protrusion!

Mr. Schwiebert, that is what I really need to do, is to get the head off find out what it needs and go and get the work done -- best advice, thanks!

I bought a gas tank and a sending unit for a ford 3500 from them and could not get the lock ring that holds the sending unit in they never said that one did not come with it fact they did not even sell one so a week later when I got the tank had to call them because it was the wrong tank to begin with so I sent it all back and just ordered it from UNGER TRACTOR SALES all state ag shipping was 56$ unger was 20$ but unger was 20$ higer in the gas tank price
