OT question on shoes or work boots

Guys there used to be a work boot brand: LAKE OF THE WOODS. Seems like it is no longer made. I always thought it was a red wing or a knock off of them? Can any of you shed light on this??? Had them in 80's 90's and had good luck. Thanks

The family that started the company live about 1/2 mile from me, they sold out to la crosse foot wear a few years ago and what happened after that I have no idea. Randy
