OT Computer Problem

I am using windows 7 and the problem is Microsoft Word does not fill the screen; only about a quarter of it. Should fill about half or more. Thanks for help in advance

If you place your cursor/pointer at the edge of that Word window a two-sided arrow will show up and you can "drag" the window to whatever size you want it to be.

Forgot to say... once you see the two-sided arrow, hold down your left mouse button while dragging/stretching the window to a larger size.

One can "size" any window this way. (Or if you want it full sized... then click the little box at far-top right, just next to the red=X for closing a window.

Just a thought, but you may not have the "full" version of word. The full version is not standard on all versions of windows 7, or on vista, or even xp.

Click start. Right click Word Documents. Right click properties. Near the bottom is Run: . Options are Normal. minimized, maximized. Pick the one you want it to start at.

BTW - This works for any program. I set everything to open up maximized.
