My idea of raking the yard

I needed tractor therapy more than hand rake
therapy. I was smiling when cleaning up the tree
mess. Plan to pick it up the sticks tomorrow with
loader and haul them away.

The rake works better on loader than on 3 pt. I can
see what I'm doing. Add all the down pressure I
want. Did a good job of filling in hole created by
tree falling.

looks good!! i have a 7 ft landscape rake i picked up at an auction couple years ago, it is missing the whole 3 pt hitch portion. been thinking about just making a bracket to use it on my skidder.

glennster,
I would never attach a rake or even a blade to remove snow to a skidder without making it able to float. The tips of my forks can go up a little, so when I push snow or use rake it floats over uneven ground without one side digging in.

When I push down on rake then it will dig in.
Can't say that with a 3 pt.

Am I the only guy with down pressure on his 3PT? I can install the disc, and lift both rear wheels off the ground, or use float and be like any 3 pt. It sure is nice when using a blade, just don't get carried away, and loose traction.
