Looking to put a new set on my super 77... has anyone run these tires, how do they wear on the road? Also has anyone seen them in any pulls as i would like to pull the tractor some. i can get them for 400 each. is that a good price?

Thanks.
Jake

I worked for a Case dealer , and Galaxy was our
'house brand ' , never had any complaints ....

56oliver, I have a set of 18.4x34s on my 966, they are 15 yrs old as still going strong, about 45% tread now, I would buy them again!
Each rear corner is carrying about 900 lbs of cast too! Hope this helps,

I hope they are. I put a set of 18.4x34's on my 666 this spring. Used it all summer for haying and they seem pretty good. They replaced a very worn set of 16.9x 34's so they are a vast improvement. Raised the drawbar up now so it is a tractor again.

This is about the 5th. time you have posted this question!!!!! Give us a break and go buy a set of half worn out tires if you want to go to tractor pulls with your 77, and if you want to do field work, (which ain't much with a 77) buy what you can aford.
You have had lots of advise, in previous posts USE IT.!!!!

They are out of this world. Actually I have no idea but since you mentioned "Galaxy" I had to say it lol.

I put those tires on my 2N. One tire is fine. The other tire lost pieces or rubber off the tips of the threads. Go to Articles under Research & Info. Search Galaxy tires. Go to page 3. scroll down to article about putting galaxy tires on a 2N. Look at the photo. You can see the missing pieces and see where other tips look like they were stuck on like bubble gum.

Look, Case Guy. I don't care if this is the tenth time I've asked about tires. It is the FIRST time I have asked about Galaxy tires, unlike you I don't have the money to go drop in a 2000 set of firestones which I've heard aren't that good anyway... That's why I've been asking about cheaper tires. And I have been looking for used tires for almost a year and I'm not paying 500 for a 25 year old set of tires that only have 30% tread when I can go buy a new set of Galaxy or BKT for around 850. And don't you say give us a break because nobody asked you to reply and the people that did sure didn't seem to mind to much.
