Geese headed north

Been a lot of geese flying around last few weeks
making a racket as they fly in a V formation.

Bubba asked why is one side of the v formation
longer than the other side? I told him, it's
because there are more geese in the longer side.
 
There am more geese on one side to make it longer, but did it ever acre to you that if there weren't less gooses on tother side that one side wouldn't be longer.
 
Hilarious.

Kinda like what's the last thing to go through a bug's mind when he hits your windshield..................................you guessed it.

Saw a huge flock of ducks Friday, late afternoon, in the sky over Albany NY, can't figure where the open water is, must be somewhere on the Hudson river further south, as its frozen but good here now.
 
What I have been told is the geese rotate the leaders so the V is always shorter on one side then the other but it can be either side since the rotating goes on as long as in flight.

:lol: :lol: Bubba always was a little slow.
I've seen a few flocks of Canadians flying north but the sky Carp are still around, The AR G&F has basically said that all you need to hunt them is a gun and shells and they might loan you the gun. No limit. They can ruin a wheat field in just a few days.

It's a v when they are flying south and a ^ when they are flying north :lol:
 
The geese I'm seeing may have escaped from the Fed prison and they are on their way back home to Ill.
