Here"s my video about David Brown 50D restored by finnish guy.
The sound of the old DB 6 cylinder is just incredible! Some parts of
the tractor (eg. mudguards) are made by the owner himself.

Sharp! I didn't know they made them that big. I wonder if the guy wants to build some parts for my DB850/Oliver 500. The fenders are pretty rough and a new pair is around $1400.

For those who got tired of the music and bailed out, they do cut the music and have tractor idling at about 1.53 in the video.

DB should have persued the single head 6 cylinder design, The two head design was a the down fall of the DB tractor line when Case bought them out.

Why year is that tractor? Is that a Simms Pump? Similar to the German Bosch, but doubt that it is.

DB 850 fenders are $360 + 20% sales tax, a pair in Britain.

AGRILINE - check out their website - search David Brown 850 section, they also sell the battery boxes for under the seat.

In their shipping charges section they do say that they can ship to US and can give you a price. They have an email address for you to contact them.

BTW - the 20% sales tax called VAT will not apply for sales to USA, but you may get charged by US customs.

I have no experience of the quality of their fenders, maybe a post on the David Brown Tractor forum in Britain someone who has bought them would give you an honest appraisal.

I'll check in to it. I've found most of the parts I need through David Brown Parts Unlimited. They seem more expensive,but they have a larger variety of the parts I need. Their fenders,like the ones from Import Tractor Parts,are unbelievably high priced.
