Finally got the other two home today... Raining cats and dogs, so haven't unloaded yet.

This other A is for sure one of the "war model" tractors... Pressure cooling system, cast frame, etc.

Pictures are:

1941 JD B
1943 JD A (war model)
1941 JD A (cast wheels, 6 speed, power trol)
194- JD G (dads)
And then the funny Green one is the 1940 I already had...

What do ya think? Looks like a bunch of green to me!! :) Bryce

Just curious, but Im betting the one rear tire on the spoke rim has "S-3" somewhere on it? If that is a war model, from what my dad told me, those tires were synthetic rubber (S-3). He always said they wore like iron but they slipped more for some reason. My uncle bought a ZTU MM, his first tractor, which I believe originally came out on steel and was fitted with rubber tires. One of the rear tires is an S-3. It is still on the tractor all these years later.

What's going on up there with all these different tractors with white sheet metal ?
Someone have a sale on white primer ?
Oh maybe it's for a white elephant sale ! LOL

Looks like a lot of nice parts tractors.

Look like parts and pieces to me. The one with the spoke wheel would look good along the road(spokes toward road) with a plant box built into the frame and a bracket to hold the hood up straight. There really ain't much left to the G That you can remove the axel housing/ rear end and stand up and hang a welcome sign from the front/top end, and use the cast case as another flower box :) Repurposed things make interesting conversation starters :D

Wow! Just looking at those hulks made my back hurt. I made a show tractor '48 A out of two hulks I bought from a guy when I was in California still working for a living and I bought a GW I had to do a lot of work on to get it right. It was fun, but a lot of John Deere parts are expensive....and heavy....Good Luck!

I noticed one has no seat nor steering wheel. I hope you don't suffer the same fate as the previous owner.
Ah yes, the fellow who lost his ath and has nowhere to turn - seat and steering wheel not needed.
