Deutz tractor... Need HELP

Is there anyone out there who is familiar with the deutz tractors. I just bought a 6206 and the dummy that had it before me thought it would be fun to screw with the injector pump. So he turned it way up so that it smokes black when given throttle... And not just a little black but a LOT... Does anyone know how or where the screw is on the pump so that I could turn it back down.

Thanks,
Jake

I have repaired many Deutz tractors and run a small pump shop. Give me a call and i will walk you through this smoke problem. Did you check the air cleaner? 231/757/0064

on the back of the injection pump their is a plate with 4 bolts remove the plate and inside their is a screw with a jam not on it every thing is 10 mm loosen jam nut and back of screw,

The air cleaner is new... It runs good but it just smokes. Is there anyway to adjust this on the outside of the pump or the inside?

Thanks

Let me know if you find a way to reduce the smoke, mine smokes allot as well, I have never had the nerve to screw with the injection pump. Also, I found out the hard way the pump on mine has it's own oil supply, not tied into the engine. You may want to check and make sure yours is not the same. Mine is a 4506. Does run great and does not use much fuel, but smokes like crazy.
