dodge wheels? OT?

I doubt it is any more OT than many other posts on here, BUT I have a 92 Dakota 4x4 3.9 v6 with a 5 speed manual tranny. The truck runs well, and body is straight. Previous owner has 31 inch tires mounted on it, and those aggressive lugs, and wide wheels, look stupid on a little V6, not to mention, that it makes it too high getting in the cab. I found both chevy 6 hole wheels, and tires, and Toyota 6 hole wheels and tires, on Craigs list, but don't know if they will bolt on a Dakota? Does any one know what will fit on a 6 lug Dakota?

31x10.50r15's? Just toss on some 235/75's you'll lose over 2 inches of tire height.
Oh, never mind, they put them on oversize wheels with the wrong offset that are hard on ball joints didn't they?

You have the nicer I think body style. I have a 2000 with 4.7 8 but only 2 wheel drive. It was supposed to have 215R-75-15 tires on it but some idiot put 235R-70-15 tires on it before I got it and with those wide things on it just will not go in the least amount of snow. Haven't had the money to junk those wide tires and get proper ones. In my year all that was avaible were the aluminm wheels, wish I could find a good steel that would fit but don't think they made one. Friend had a 4 wheel version of mine and he put the 16" from a later model on his with the mudders, he worked part time at parts yard and got them very cheap. Did not have them on long till his truck was totaled while parked in front of his mobile home by a driver that did not make the turn in the streat. His truck had same gearing as mine and he got by OK with the oversize tire as he did not pull a trailer but I pull trailer all the time with mine and that oversize hurts the towing capacity. Not sure if wheels from the up to 96 are same hub size as 97 up or not.

If I where you I would find one and give it as try. I had a Mitsubishi truck which was a lot like the Dodge and wheels from my Chev would bolt onto it
