I don't know how to post a link on here but if you search for "Allis Chalmers movie #5" on youtube you can see what they put some of the 7000 series tractors through at the factory back in the day. Holy cow....

I'll have to look those up too. Are there any for Case from the 1960s? Ive seen a couple on Olivers which are very good as well.

That was done after I left the company. I complained repeatedly to have the tractors checked with dynamometers when they came off the line at the factory. Prior to dynamometer testing, the tractors were just driven off the line and shipped to dealers.

I had 190XT's arriving at the dealers with 110 - 120 HP; the transmissions weren't strong enough to hamdle that much load on a continuous pull application. After they put in dynamometers, the engines were set at 96 HP on the 190XT's before they left the factory.

190XT's lasted on farms that did not require much heavy drawbar work. They usually wound up in hill country dairy farms where a minimum of corn was grown. The local AC dealer felt they just were not heavy enough built.

They never changed them(XTs&200s) that we ever seen,90% or better came in well over 100HP and most were 110-120 and few over that.My 7050 came in better then 50 over its rating. My 8050 was the only one even close at 10 over.
