13.6 x 38 Co-op Safemark tire

I am looking for a 13.6 x 38 safemark Co-op tire to match a good one I have can someone tell me who made them so I can know what to look for with the same tread pattern

I had a pair of nice looking tires like that
on my 620 John deere, Both of them the side
of a casing's split open. Tread like new but
the rest of the tire was junk. Neither leaked
since the had fluid in them, I installed new
ones ASAP.

They sold a lot of those around here, and all do the same thing tread looks good but sidewalls get massive cracks if stored where the sun can get at them hard

Kelly is the last one to use that mold AFAIK. We put a pair of 16.9x38's on the 560 some time in the 1990's. They were Kellys with the Safemark tread.

I have a matched pair on my M. That dont help you none though. Farm Bureau marketed the Safemark brand. I worked for Missouri Farm Bureau then. I forget the exact year they got out of the business, but like others have said it was in the early 90's I think.

My father sold Safemark tires years ago. He sold about a gazzilion of the things per year. Excellent pulling tire, but as said the sidewalls were not a good as a Firestone or Goodyear. However they weren't bad as tires go and they were close to half the price of the Firestones and Goodyears of the time. I still have one Safemark left on my 1955 yet, but it's getting rather shopworn.

I would think you are going to have a hard time finding another usable Safemark.

Our Farm Bureau dealer says he can still get Safemark tires. I am going to see if he can this summer.
